CREST_season2 2015-03-06 Nakajima won a research grant of JST/CREST framework, starting April 2015 and continues five years. Research subject is "improvement of terrestrial scientific data availability and development of energy demand models for a Energy Management System (EMS). This research subject is performed by a team of Tokai University, JAXA, University of Tokyo, Chiba University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Osaka University.

WSC 2013 2013-10-06

The world largest solar car race, WSC 2013 has started on 6, Oct, 2013. Nakajima laboratory supports the "Tokai Challenger team" by supplying special dataset of geo-physical parameters such as solar irradiance etc.

We welcomed visiting students from Thai, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. They stayed Nakajima lab for a month.

Nakajima laboratory has been moved to Shonan Campus of Tokai University.

Nearest train station is "Tokai Daigaku Mae" of the Odakyu line. It is located about 65 min from Shinjuku Station.

CREST Grant 2012-08-29

Nakajima won a research grant from JST/CREST framework. Research subject is the development of a geoscientific data analysis system for harmonized utilization of renewable terrestrial energy. This research subject is performed by a team of Tokai University, University of Tokyo, Chiba University, and Meteorological Satellite Center.

Ibuki satellite captured present volcanic eruption in Iceland.

Nakajima laboratory is contributing the Ibuki science project.

All sky images teken at Iriomote Island (Okinawa) by Nakajima lab. were introduced at the NHK TV show "Asa Ichi" on May 17, 2011. Also, Prof. Takeshita from Tokai University gave scientific information about ultraviolet radiation in the early summer season.
